Description: Solid ovoid shell, with a rounded shoulder and concave spire. Spiral sculpture of fine cords. Color ranges from black to brown with sparse white splotches.
Size: 10-20 mm.

Geological range: Pleistocene-Recent (2-0 million years ago).
Geographic distribution: Caribbean.
