Description: Circular or sometime oval, relatively flat. Sculpture of numerous closely spaced radial ribs and ridges parallel (commarginal) to shell margin, sometime forming periodic coarse growth lines. Exterior is white, while interior may be white or yellow with a pink margin.
Size: 50-60 mm.
Ecology: Shallow sub-tidal sands and seagrass meadows.
Geological range: Pliocene-Recent (5-0 million years ago).
Geographic distribution: Caribbean, Florida.
