Remarks According to De Grave: Preprint was distributed before complete 1854 publication. Preprint has different pagination than final publication. Volume 6 came out in parts, with this part appearing in 1852. But we do not actually know the exact date preprint or volume came out.
The only thing which makes this ref confusing is the pdf version on BHL, which has 1854 on cover. The library copy here (at Oxford) actually is bound in separate volumes.
