Transverse septum

• Thin wall of cirripeds normal to longitudinal septum and parallel to basis, dividing parietal tubes into series of cells. [Moore and McCormick, 1969]
• (Taxon-specific: Subclass Cirripedia) Thin wall normal to longitudinal septum and parallel to basis, dividing longitudinal tubes into series of cells. [McLaughlin, 1980]
