• (Taxon-specific: Subclass Cirripedia) Any one of numerous accessory calcareous elements on body (as opposed to primary plates). May include single rostrum, subrostrum, subcarina, and numerous lateral plates (latera, lateralia). [Stachowitsch, 1992]
