Rectum
- (Taxon-specific: Order Tanaidacea) In pleotelson, relatively short posterior section of digestive tract between midgut and anus. [Stachowitsch, 1992]
- (Taxon-specific: Order Decapoda) Posteriormost muscular and cuticle-lined section of digestive tract. May be somewhat expanded; opens to exterior through anus. Typically considered to represent only most terminal region of hindgut. [Stachowitsch, 1992]
- (Taxon-specific: Order Amphipoda) Hindgut. [Stachowitsch, 1992]
- (Taxon-specific: Subclass Branchiura) Hindgut. [Stachowitsch, 1992]
