Pyloric stomach
- Posterior region of the decapod foregut. [Brusca and Brusca, 2002]
- Posterior and smaller division of stomach; separated from large anterior cardiac stomach by cardiopyloric valve. Characterized by highly folded, setose walls (filtering apparatus), plates, and valve-like structures. Opens into intestine; pair of ducts from hepatic cecum enter posterior end of pyloric stomach.
