- (Taxon-specific: Order Mysida) One of numerous cuticular openings on carapace and body; presumably with sensory function. [Stachowitsch, 1992]
- (Taxon-specific: Class Ostracoda) Minute pore in outer surface of valve. Serves as opening of pore canal. (celate, funnel, intramural, rimmed). [Stachowitsch, 1992]
