Murus

• (Taxon-specific: Class Ostracoda) Type of valve sculpture: one element in a meshwork of walls forming a reticulate patterm. A single mesh in reticulum-consisting of central space (solum) and surrounding muri- is termed fossa. (caperate, excavate, foveolate, papillate, perforate, undercut). [Stachowitsch, 1992]
