[cited in Martin&Belk 1986; Martin 1989] Cyclestheria: This paper is cited by Sissom (1980) as mentioning Cyclestheria hislopi from New South Wales (at least it looks this way as cited by Sissom). It is also cited by Roessler in his in press paper on Cyclestheriidae from Colombia (in the journal Hydrobiologia). The paper is important because, according to how Roessler cited it, Daday "reports" a male. This makes me think that there are no descriptions in the paper, but we need to see it to be sure. Although JM's reprint collection has several papers by Daday, some that are 1926 and in this journal, apparently I do not have this particular paper. Note also that Roessler gives page numbers as 1-81, but Sissom cites page 578. This could be because in many early papers there as a "dual" system of pagination, with different page numbers at top than at bottom of the pages. Or, one of these workers could have cited it incorrectly. We will need to find it and cite it. |
