Abstract
Six species of the lobster family Erymidae are described from the Late Kimmeridgian Nusplingen Lithographic Limestone (SW Germany), one of which, Eryma westphali n. sp., is new. The latter is very close to the Franconian species Eryma veltheimi (MÜNSTER). E. veltheimi (MÜNSTER), hitherto only known by the holotype, is reported from the lithographic limestone of Brunn in Eastern Bavaria (Late Kimmeridgian, Beckeri Zone, Subeumela Subzone). The validity of two species from Nusplingen (Eryma punctatum, E. major) published by OPPEL (1861, 1862), both based on single fragmentary specimens, is underlined by new material. Eryma major OPPEL is included in the genus Erymastacus BEURLEN, which is separated from Eryma V. MEYER because of its characteristic shape of the first pereiopods. The Nusplingen species Eryma fraas iOPPEL, Palaeastacus solitarius OPPEL, and the strange Pustulina suevica QUENSTEDT are recognized to by synonyms, so that Phlyctisoma BELL, 1883 now becomes a younger synonym of Pustulina QUENSTEDT, 1857.
