Abstract
As a result of the minute study of the type-specimens of Anuropoda francispori Bacescu, 1980 (type species of the genus Anuropoda Bacescu, 1980 and the family Anuropodidae Bacescu, 1980), I have proved its belonging to the genus Parapseudes G.O. Sars, 1882. Thus, Anuropoda francispori becomes Parapseudes francispori (Bacescu, 1980), comb. nov. and both genus Anuropoda and monotypic family Anuropodidae are invalidated. Also, there are analyzed morphological features of the genus Tanapseudes Bacescu, 1978, which were at the base of the description of the family Tanapseudidae Bacescu, 1978, family which was reduced in rank by Bamber (2000) at the subfamily level and included in the family Sphyrapidae Gutu, 1980. It is demonstrated the belonging of Tanapseudidae (in part.) to the family Kalliapseudidae Lang, 1956 and it is suggested their maintaining at the subfamily rank (with the genera Psammokalliapseudes Lang, 1956 and Tanapseudes Bacescu, 1978), while the genus Paradoxapseudes Gutu, 1991 (initially classified in the family Tanapseudidae) is include in family Apseudidae Leach, 1814. According to the made changes, new diagnosis for the family Kalliapseudidae and the three subfamilies within it are presented. In the final part of the paper, the new list of Apseudoidea families is mentioned.
