Subhepatic region

• See: Carapace region l   [Martin, 2005]
• Area below hepatic region and anterolateral border of carapace. [Williams, 1984]
• The region on the ventral surface of the carapace bounded by the antero-lateral margin, outer margin of the pterygostomial region and lower margin of the orbit. [Ingle, 1983]
• (Taxon-specific: Order Decapoda) See: Carapace regions l   [McLaughlin, 1980]
• (Taxon-specific: Order Decapoda) On ventral side of carapace, region below each hepatic region. Adjoining regions include pterygostomial and suborbital regions. [Stachowitsch, 1992]
