Spur furrow

• In cirripeds (Balanomorpha), groove on outer surface of tergum extending to apex in line with spur.
  (syn. spur fasciole) [Moore and McCormick, 1969]
• (Taxon-specific: Subclass Cirripedia) Barnacle plate feature: in unstalked form, groove on outer surface of tergum, in line with spur and extending to upper angle (apex). [Stachowitsch, 1992]
• (Taxon-specific: Subclass Cirripedia) Groove on outer surface of tergum extending to apex in line with spur, with sides sometimes folded in. [McLaughlin, 1980]
