Sensoriform filament

• (Taxon-specific: Subclass Copepoda) A modified setal element typically with thin walls and either blunt ending (vermiform), or ending in brush of fine setules (brush-like), found on the maxilla and sometimes maxillipeds of calanoids. [Boxshall and Halsey, 2004]
