Seminal receptacle

Diverticulum of oviduct or external pouch (some pygocephalomorph eocarids, isopod peracarids, and decapods) for storing spermatozoa delivered by male.

In females of lobsters and some shrimps, an area on the ventral surface of the thorax that receives the spermatophore from the male during mating; in crabs, an enlarged portion of each oviduct that serves the same function. [Bliss, 1982]
