• (Taxon-specific: Order Decapoda) In shrimp-like (natantian) decapod, narrow, longitudinal ridge along dorsal midline of carapace; originates behind rostrum and typically extends almost to posterior end of carapace. Usually with teeth. [Stachowitsch, 1992]
