Occludent margin

• In cirripeds, margin of scutum and tergum forming aperture and occluding with comparable margins of opposed scutum. [Moore and McCormick, 1969]
• (Taxon-specific: Subclass Cirripedia) Barnacle plate feature: margin of scutum or tergum facing aperture. [Stachowitsch, 1992]
• (Taxon-specific: Subclass Cirripedia) Margin of scutum and tergum bordering orifice. [McLaughlin, 1980]
