• Thrid segment of antennal peduncle. [McLaughlin, 1980]
• (Taxon-specific: Order Decapoda) In antenna, term applied to first of three segments (ischiocerite, merocerite, carpocerite) of inner branch (endopod). Alternate interpretation: third segment of peduncle. [Stachowitsch, 1992]
